Gail Beltran-Nott
Founder & Executive Director
Malaya Center for Health & Healing
Gail Beltran-Nott founded the Malaya Center for Health & Healing, combining her knowledge and passion for natural health and the freedom of being self-employed, to deliver quality services and programs to clients and practitioners.
Gail first experienced natural healing methods after having allergy attacks so severe, she could not move. Frustrated with traditional Western medicine, she met with an herbalist and learned about diet, detoxification, and herbs. A combination of acupuncture, massage and chiropractic decreased her pain and stress and her health improved.
She left her internet marketing & project management career in 2002 and graduated with honors from the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA. Her education includes over 830 hours of intensive training in massage techniques, anatomy, practice management, and clinical experience. Gail is a Certified Massage Therapist, Prenatal Massage Therapist, Health Educator, and Reiki Practitioner.
Her massage career included internships at chiropractic and pain management clinics, outcall massage in the Napa Valley, chair massage for local businesses, and day spas in Pleasant Hill and San Francisco. She grew her massage practice to a full-time career, seeing over four hundred clients in three years.
Gail is also an Assistant Director for BNI, a business networking organization. She oversees local chapters, providing guidance and support to local business people in growing their businesses by "word-of-mouth" marketing.
At the Malaya Center for Health & Healing, Gail coordinates business programs for the Malaya wellness practitioners and classes and events at the center.
